I think that implementing new ways of telling stories is difficult because journalism is kind of a repetitive job, with people writing many stories with the same approach each week. I can imagine that trying to implement a different system, and especially a new mindset, can be very difficult for veteran journalists who have gotten comfortable in their usual approach.
