I think Tarafdar had a lot of interesting strategies that she used to help implement solutions journalism into her news room, especially giving her reporters time to complete these stories. I like that she assigned them something new with enough time to ask questions, delve into their topic, and get revisions on it, rather than assigning them a quick turn around for something they've not done before. I think small steps like this help to change mindsets rather than expecting that change in a week.
